Meaning To Be
Can fate be engineered, or is someone on high playing a giant chess game with us?
Sailor Donovan thinks that everyone is in charge of their own destiny until he decides to meddle with Ellie Harvey's. Pretending to be psychic, he 'reads' her palm using information he has overheard from an argument between her and her fiance. Certain that she is about to make a disastrous marriage, Sailor, tells her that she is marrying the wrong man, and sets in motion a series of events that changes everybody's lives - Sailor's included.
Meaning To Be is a sparkling romance, which dazzles like a summer's day on the beach.
I loved this book. It took all the lives of the characters , padded them out ,and wove them together seamlessly to create one of the best reads I've had in a while. The scenes were so well described that you could visualise them effortlessly. This was a really enjoyable read, and I look forward to reading more from this author. Highly recommend this.
5* Goodreads Review for 'Meaning To Be'
Meaning to Be is not your typical romance. It's sharp, not at all contrived, not syrupy, and it's totally believable. The characters are well drawn and also believable, and the author has captured their personalities perfectly: they really do come to life - Ryan is a real piece of work, and I've met one or two just like him, and Adele, well, you'll have to see for yourself - and I found myself very much interested in each of their futures. The plot line is also well drawn with several unexpected twists. Meaning to Be is a good read, hard to put down. If you like romance stories taken from real life, I can recommend this one.
5* Amazon Review
It has been a long time since I have been able to read a book in a couple of days! It has also been a long time that I have had time to do this, however with this book I made time and I needed to know what was happening next. Each chapter gave me thought to ponder what was the next installment. Enjoyed the Characters by either loving them or hating them dependent on their actions and the ending!..... Well I cannot give anything away, you will just have to read it! A great read!
